| Most people would mistake me for the x pakistani president Mr Pervez Musharraf and might just even check my profile for the same reason.But im not that guy which is quite obvious. Im Musharraf from India,Pune.as i kid i was always good at drawing n stuff and i started off with drawing lions 24/7!. i was also a big lion king fan at that time and so mufasa and the gang were always on my pages. Dinosaurs, Comic heroes and landscapes were also one of my fav. When i was a kid destruction was an important ingredient of my drawings and so was strength and aggressiveness mainly due to the comical characters i kept sketching. I think art evolves with the person simultaneously and my case is similar. From dinosaurs and lions i moved on to lonely figures,graffiti covered walls,empty lanes,leafless trees,eyeless faces,etc.Most of these were a result of the feelings i felt and the moods i went through.And music the most powerful and compelling inspirations had just started to captivate me.I was into metal and drew inspiration from songs,lyrics,album artwork,guitarists,drummers whatever! and it hasn't left me till date. As of now im into any kind of art i find interesting or i feel i can relate to but my skills are related to live sketching spontaneity,abstract art,pencil shading etc. Im also doing a course in animation but in india its a very different story. Im not very good at communicating as in on a personal basis because of my shy and reserved nature. I have hard time expressing myself fully and satisfactorily but art is one way by which i can communicate and express myself in the best possible way!Art is one of my talents and strenghts.I can relieve myself through it. I would define art as anything appealing or pleasing to the eye.I guess thats the best possible definition i can think of.Art is never fully understood,it is individualistic,singular and varied in nature.And for this reason it cannot be defined in the full sense it can only be given an opinion about and therefore the first sentence of this para is invalid only with the word 'define' in it. Hopefully i will be able to share my artwork here and also get a chance to see and reflect my thoughts on the work of others! okay this is boring!!!!! |
